MUTEON Acoustic Foam – 10mm – 3m² Roll

MUTEON Acoustic Foam is a 10mm self-adhesive foam layer developed for use inside cars, vans, campers and commercial vehicles where additional sound absorption is required.

Supplied as a 3m x 1m continuous roll, it gives 3m² of coverage and can be cut down easily to suit larger panels, cavities or more targeted areas.

It is particularly useful behind speakers and interior trim, helping to reduce unwanted sound reflections and improve the acoustic environment inside the vehicle.

Ideal for Vehicle Audio & Interior Panels

MUTEON Acoustic Foam works differently to butyl sound deadening.

Butyl products are designed to control vibration in metal panels, while acoustic foam is used to help manage sound within cavities and behind trim.

This makes it a great addition to:

Easy to Install

The 10mm foam is soft, flexible and easy to trim around vehicle contours and components.

A strong self-adhesive backing means installation is straightforward:

Cut to size, remove the backing and press firmly into place.

For areas where panel vibration is also an issue, MUTEON Acoustic Foam can be used together with MUTEON Sound Deadening Hex Sheets. Apply the sound deadening directly to the metal panel first, then add the acoustic foam where extra sound absorption is required.
