Match the van and the panel
Five fitment checks before you order glass
The shared range covers several van names, but each pane has its own restrictions. Keep the exact length, physical side and door arrangement on your shopping list.
Body generation and year boundary
Compare the body and product photographs as well as the registration year. The checked listings specify Boxer/Relay/Ducato 2006-2023, while the category uses a broader date range. Confirm later vehicles individually.
Length designation and panel position
Record L1, L2, L3 or L4 where known, alongside the exact window position. Do not infer middle- or rear-quarter fitment from a front-side pane. Ask for clarification when title and description disagree.
Sliding-door arrangement
Identify whether the intended panel is opposite one sliding door or is itself another sliding door. The linked driver-side slider is not suitable for twin-sliding-door models or SWB vans.
Rear-door hinge type
Check standard rear-door hinges versus oversized 270-degree hinges. The linked barn-door pair is for standard hinges and excludes the oversized type. Send hinge and rear-door photographs if unclear.
Glass construction and installation
Identify whether you need bonded panel-van glass or a different framed/acrylic motorhome window. Check the aperture, fitting materials, trim and screening for the exact installation.

These examples illustrate specific restrictions and are not a complete installation package. Check every listing and resolve contradictory fitment labels before purchase.

Can I use the same window range for Boxer, Relay and Ducato?
Camper Glass groups compatible panel-van products in a shared Boxer/Relay/Ducato catalogue. Start there, then check the individual pane. A common category does not mean every window fits every wheelbase, position, door arrangement or model year.
The side slider and barn-door products linked on this page describe Boxer, Relay and Ducato fitment for 2006-2023. The category heading currently has a broader date range. If your van is later, at a model change, or has a different body or door arrangement, send photographs and the exact product link before ordering. Some products also list a later Movano, but the dates vary between listings; do not select glass for an older Movano simply because its name appears in the range.
Identify the actual vehicle body and pane position as well as the badge. Resolve any difference between the product title, description and your van before buying. The examples here are product-selection guidance, not confirmation of every later model.
Why do L1, L2, L3 and L4 matter for side windows?
Length matters most when choosing middle and rear-quarter glass. The driver-side slider lists MWB, LWB and XLWB, with L2, L3 and L4 in its compatibility text, and explicitly excludes SWB. That restriction belongs to this exact front-side product.
The passenger rear-quarter pane describes XLWB/L4 compatibility and says it does not fit short or medium-wheelbase models. Its title also includes LWB, so that broader title should not be treated as confirmation that it fits your L3. Ask the team to resolve the fitment for your van before adding it to the order.
Make a simple list of each position: front side, sliding door, middle section, rear quarter and rear door. Add the length designation and physical side to every entry. A front-side pane that fits does not establish the fitment of the rear-quarter glass, and the words rear window do not identify a specific panel.
Which opening window works with my sliding-door arrangement?
The linked driver-side slider is described for the panel opposite the sliding door. It explicitly states that it is not suitable for twin-sliding-door models. A van with another sliding door at that position needs a product and installation confirmed for that arrangement. Do not infer fitment from the physical side alone.
The same listing describes a recessed opening style with a 15 mm recess when closed. Compare its mechanism and finish with the actual fixed or opening options available for your exact panel. A fixed pane can provide a view and daylight; an opening section adds a different function. Check that furniture, blinds and trim leave access to the latch and opening.
Choose each position around the interior rather than assuming every pane should use the same mechanism. Secure opening windows according to their instructions before driving, and plan ventilation for the whole conversion. Use the shared fixed and opening comparison for the wider style decision.
Will the barn-door pair fit doors with 270-degree hinges?
The barn-door privacy-glass pair specifically states standard hinges and excludes oversized 270-degree hinges. Treat that as a purchase check, even if the van model and wheelbase otherwise match the listing. The product supplies a pair, so confirm both rear-door positions.
Photograph the rear doors and hinges if you do not know which arrangement you have. Include the van model, body generation and product link when asking the team to confirm. Do not choose by a generic rear-glass search result or assume that all rear doors on the same vehicle family are identical.
If replacing factory glass, check any wiper, heating or other features you need with the team. Aftermarket privacy glass should not be assumed to reproduce every feature of the old pane. Inspect the new glass and confirm its fitment before cutting or bonding.
Is this glass suitable for a Ducato motorhome window replacement?
The products illustrated here are shaped glass for panel-van positions. A Ducato-based motorhome can have windows fitted into a separately built habitation body, including framed or acrylic units. The vehicle badge alone does not establish which replacement is needed.
If you are replacing an existing motorhome window, identify its construction, manufacturer markings, frame and opening before shopping. Send photographs and any part reference. Do not assume that a panel-van side pane or a universal glass panel replaces a framed habitation window, even if a rough measurement looks similar.
For a panel-van conversion, decide where you want daylight and a view, and where furniture will cover the panel. Privacy glass does not guarantee privacy with lights on after dark, so plan curtains or blinds for sleeping. The shared privacy and blackout guidance explains that decision alongside checking the exact glass and screening fitment.
What adhesive and trim should I order with these larger panes?
The linked slider, rear-quarter pane and rear-door pair list fitting kits separately and recommend one double fitting kit per window for these large vans. A rear-door pair contains two panes even though it is one product line. Confirm quantities for the full installation with your fitter and the instructions for the exact products.
Separate adhesive quantity from trim selection. Front-side interior trim, middle or rear-quarter finishing pieces and barn-door trim serve different positions. Choose the correct profile and length for the panel, not merely an accessory displayed beside a window. The fitting kits and accessories range is a useful starting point for that discussion.
Follow the actual bonding-system instructions for surface preparation, working conditions and curing. Inspect the glass, mechanism and aperture before work begins. Use the fitting guide alongside the instructions for your vehicle and materials, and ask for clarification before cutting when compatibility or preparation is uncertain.

Build a useful layout
Three practical Boxer, Relay and Ducato examples
An L2 day van with accessible seating
Start with the exact front-side panels and sliding-door arrangement. Compare a fixed pane for daylight with an opening section that can be reached from the seat. Check the linked driver-side slider’s SWB and twin-sliding-door exclusions instead of assuming that a side-window listing covers every body.
An L3 camper with a kitchen and rear bed
Sketch the furniture, bed height and storage before choosing middle or rear-quarter glass. Decide whether a pane will provide a useful view from the bed or sit behind tall storage. Select products confirmed for the L3 and exact panel; do not use the linked XLWB/L4 rear-quarter example as evidence of L3 fitment.
An L4 conversion with rear-door glass
Assess each extra rear-quarter position against the interior layout and confirm the precise physical side. Check the rear-door hinges before selecting a barn-door pair, and count both rear panes when planning fitting materials. Plan curtains or blinds wherever you need night-time privacy.
These are planning examples, not tested conversion packages. Use a position-by-position shopping list and confirm every pane and fitting material before work starts. Use live stock and prices for the final order.
Send Camper Glass the vehicle model, body generation, length designation, physical side and exact panel position. Include photographs of the van, sliding doors and rear-door hinges, plus links to the products you are considering.
For an existing motorhome window, include its frame, construction and any manufacturer markings. For a panel-van conversion, explain where seating, the bed and storage will sit. Start with the Boxer/Relay/Ducato range, then resolve each product’s compatibility before ordering.
