No. The featured products are described as total blackout. If you want light and a view through the pane, look at fixed or opening privacy glass instead.
Is blackout glass the same as a blind or curtain?
No. It is an opaque glass product. A blind or curtain covers a viewing window and can usually be opened to let light in; a blackout pane does not become transparent.
Do I need to cut out the panel?
No, the original metal panel stays in place. Blackout windows are designed to bond directly over it, giving your van a glazed appearance without cutting an opening.
Do I bond blackout windows in the same way as other van windows?
Yes, they bond to the van using the same method as our other windows. The difference is that the existing metal panel stays in place, so there’s no need to cut an opening. Follow the fitting instructions and use the appropriate window adhesive and preparation products.
