Are opening and sliding windows the same thing?

Opening is the broader description. Sliding windows are one opening style, while Safari-style glass uses a different mechanism. Check the product photographs and specification for the exact design.

What is different about flush sliding windows?

They are designed for a more integrated exterior appearance when closed. Conventional sliding ranges can have a more visibly recessed opening section. The flush-sliding page explains the available ranges.

Will a Transit Custom window fit every generation?

No. The 2012-2023 Transit Custom and the 2024-onwards generation use different ranges. Confirm the generation and fitting side before adding glass to your basket.

What should I test before bonding the glass?

Inspect the pane and edges, confirm the fitting position and check the opening and locking action. If something does not look right, contact us before cutting or fitting.
