VW Crafter and MAN TGE window FAQs
Which Crafter range do I need?
Match the van body and product listing before choosing glass. This is the later Crafter/MAN TGE range. The earlier Crafter and Sprinter range stays separate. Near a generation change, send photographs of the van and intended panel before ordering.
Does every window fit every body length?
No. The reviewed driver-side sliding window excludes short-wheelbase models. Middle and rear-quarter panes have their own length restrictions. Check the physical side, sliding-door arrangement and panel position for each product rather than applying one window’s fitment to the whole range.
Are Crafter and MAN TGE rear-door windows interchangeable?
Choose the exact vehicle-specific rear glass. The MAN TGE barn-door pair is listed as unsuitable for Crafter; a separate Crafter rear-door product is available. Confirm the door shape, position and any features needed when replacing existing glass.
Which style and fitting materials should I choose?
Choose fixed glass for daylight or an opening format where ventilation is needed, subject to the exact fitment. Use our window buying guide for the shared style and privacy advice. We recommend a double fitting kit for a single Crafter window because of its size; confirm the quantities and preparation instructions for your installation with your fitter.
