This van window frame is the internal window surround used for a T6 and T6.1 tailgate window.
This product is made from textured black PU plastic for an original factory look and finish.
These can be mounted with screws, adhesive or Velcro (not supplied).
To be fitted without U trim.
This van window frame is a great way to finish the inside of your VW T6 and T6.1 Transporter when fitting an aftermarket tailgate window. These PU frames cover the cut edge left after cutting the window out. Not only will this make the new window look neat and tidy after install, but it will help to keep the window in place safe and secure too.
T6 and T6.1 tailgate windows have a shallower recess compared to the T5 and T5.1 and also the side windows. When using U trim, it can cause the tailgate window to stick proud of the bodywork on the outside. Using these internal window surrounds instead, will allow you to mount the window closer to the bodywork, meaning it will sit inside the recess for a more factory finish.
